Description: – The Department of Library and Information Science recently organized a online Two-Day National Workshop on “E-Granthalaya 4.0” Library Management Software on 4th and 5th of July 2024, conducted via Google Meet. This workshop aimed to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the E-Granthalaya 4.0 software, focusing on its features, functionality and application in library management. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Shekhar Sawant the officiating Principal. This was followed by an introduction of the Resource Person, Mr. Chetan Taksale, by the college Librarian Sonia Desai. |
| Day 1 On the first day, Mr. Chetan Taksale covered: E-Granthalaya 3.0 (LMS) Overview of E-Granthalaya: He provided a Comprehensive introduction to the software. Steps to implement and Use the Software: Detailed instruction on how to set up and utilize E-Granthalaya 3.0 in libraries. Benefits of Library management: Highlighted the advantage of using the software to streamline library operation and enhance service delivery. Day 2 On the second day, Mr. Taksale discussed: E-Granthalaya 4.0 (LMS) User Management: Detailed how the software manages library membership, user profiles, borrowing history and more. Reports and Statistics: Demonstrate how to generate various reports and statistics related to library usage, inventory and more. Networking of Libraries: Explained how E-Granthalaya facilitates the Networking of multiple libraries, enabling resource sharing and collaboration among different libraries. |
