Preamble:-Department of Library & Information Science of Swami Vivekanand College of Commerce Bori Goa organised “Book Exhibition” on occasion of National Library Week Theme “Welcome to your Library” on 17th & 18th November 2021.
Chief Guest: – Mr. Nitesh Naik- Librarian, Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management Porvorim Goa.
Participants: – College staff & students were present for the Book Exhibition
Description: – The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr Nitesh Naik, Principal Dr. (CA) Subrahmanya Bhat and other dignities with the lighting of a lamp. Principal Dr Bhat in his welcome speech expressed his ideas & opinion about using the Library. College Librarian Mrs Sonia Desai in her addressing explained the importance of the Book Exhibition and gave brief information about the chief guest by welcoming the chief guest and other dignitaries and also expressed her gratitude to the college Principal. Chief Guest Mr Nitesh Naik in his speech gave tips to the students on how to inculcate reading habits at the early stage of reading.
