Workshop on “Orientation on the use of library resources”

Preamble: – Department of Library & Information Science of Swami Vivekanand College of Commerce Bori Goa organised a workshop on “Orientation on the use of library resources” .
Resource Person: – Mr. Vishal Laximan Velip, Librarian, C.E.S College of Arts & Commerce
Participants: – Staff &students of the college
Description: – The workshop was conducted to train the staff and students of the college on the use of library resources, E-Database, NLIST, and KOHA OPAC software.
Students were given the responsibility to motivate and improve communication skills.
Principal Dr. Subrahmanya Bhat focussed on reading and referring to journals and books and its importance to make a career.
Astt. Prof: Mrs. Gayatri Behare introduced the guest.
Librarian, Mrs. Sonia Mukesh Desai briefed the session by mentioning that this type of workshop will help the student to update themselves.
