National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme is a student youth service
programme that aims at creating social consciousness
among youth, with the overall objective of personality
development of students through community service.

“Not Me, But You”
The programme consists of a
special camping programme of 7 days and
regular activities involving community work. An NSS volunteer
has to dedicate 120 hours towards community
service in an academic year.

Campus & Community
An NSS volunteer is required to maintain the record of
community work executed during the academic year. Every
volunteer has to maintain discipline, decorum and show
exemplary conduct.
National Cadet Corps (NCC)
The NCC Army and Navy Wings inculcate the values of
patriotism and service to the nation
among our young boys and girls, and also offer them
ample opportunities for character formation and
personality development.
Our students are allowed to participate in NCC in
neighbouring colleges. These opportunities help
students develop discipline, confidence, leadership
qualities and a sense of responsibility towards
society and the nation.
